“For the ass”: Frank Thelen criticizes DHDL startup Miss Mineva – this is what the founder says

Minever Zevker is watching the show today with friends and family at a self-organized public viewing. Of course, one thing is a must: Miss Mineva's soup. Zevker's personal favorite at the moment is pea soup.

In the second episode of the current season of "The Lion's Den," Minever Zevker appears before the lions. She has developed a fermented soup powder that is quick to prepare – but unlike traditional packet soups, it doesn't contain any flavor enhancers, wheat flour, or artificial starch.

In the show, the founder explains that she had been searching for a product for a long time that was quick but didn't cause a guilty conscience.

Their goal: "no-frills soups," made with fermented legumes and vegetables, completely free of additives. Fermentation—a natural fermentation process—is said to not only ensure longer shelf life but also benefit the intestinal flora through lactic acid bacteria and enzymes.

Gründerszene asked how things went for Miss Mineva after the show, whether the deal with the lions came to fruition, and how Zevker reacted to Frank Thelen's comment, "The brand name is crap." She also explained how a medical emergency almost prevented her from performing—and why the deal wasn't finalized after the show.
